UNICO₂RN –Flexible and Efficient Capture and Bioconversion of CO₂ to Materials and Ingredients
UNICO2RN develops and demonstrates modular systems using metal-organic frameworks and hydrogen-oxidising bacteria to capture and convert biogenic CO₂ into valuable microbial proteins and biodegradable plastics. The project aims to support climate goals by improving resource efficiency, reducing emissions, and enabling circular carbon use at near-commercial scale.
